*               MISCILLENEOUS RECOMMENDATIONS              *

A) OPEN FILES AND DIRECTORIES:

Everytime you post a new document or create a new 
subdirectory in your account, you will need to 'open'
these documents by typing:

     chmod 755 *

to make your documents accessible to your professor and 
fellow students in the class.

If your documents are stored in new subdirectories,  you
need to open both the subdirectory and the files in the
subdirectory.


B) PERSONAL MESSAGES:

Unless you state otherwise - displaying the mention 
PERSONAL or CONFIDENTIAL - in your message, I will 
systematically post your messages and my answers in Lynx, so 
that the students taking the class can 'assist' to all 
conversations between you and me.
