A copy of "Introduction to Telecommunications" is available
from the School of Computer and Information Sciences. This
document explains in detail:

  * how to access Nova's computer system (called scis)
  * how to get an account on scis
  * how to use the basic functions of the scis computer:
    * e-mail
    * text-editor
    * uploading and downloading
    * the electronic classroom
    * lynx and mosaic


REPORTING TELECOMMUNICATION PROBLEMS:

Whenever you encounter a problem with one of the basic 
functions available on the scis computer, you should report
the problem to the following offices at NSU:
